What the Dinner Supports
The International Alliance for the Prevention of AIDS provides four programs in the United States which focus on HIV Education: HIV Prevention Education Outreach Program, Summer Internship Program, University Service Learning Program and Health First. We also provide 12 programs in Chennai, India which focus on three areas: HIV Education, Nutrition & Support and Testing & Treatment. We are members of the Fast Track Cities Initiative in Phoenix, Arizona. The goal of the initiative is to end AIDS as a public health threat by 2030 is feasible if high HIV burden cities around the world fast-track their AIDS responses.
Event Information
We are celebrating the 12th annual Hope in the Face of AIDS gala on March 24th at the Scottsdale Resort at McCormick Ranch.
The proceeds from the Hope dinner support HIV Prevention Programs in the United States & India and help us fulfill our mission to Prevent the global spread of HIV through education and volunteerism.
This year’s Co-Chair Team includes; Michelle Barker, Kassie Miller, Chris Tobey, Kit Kloeckl, R. Scott Harnisch, Mary Ellen Page, Caia Curtis and Dustin Marshall.
